Recent successes

  • Release from custody

In criminal cases where the client was arrested for harassment and failing to comply with a promise, Me Tanguay secured the client’s release despite multiple pending matters. A few days later, when the client was arrested again for harassment, death threats, and failing to comply, Me Tanguay once again, after tough negotiations with the Crown prosecutor, succeeded in obtaining her client’s release while awaiting trial.
  • “Car Surfing”

In a penal case where the client was charged with “car surfing” and risked losing 12 demerit points and paying a $1,500 fine, the arguments advanced by Me Tanguay led to a settlement in which the client lost no demerit points and only had to pay a $120 fine. This outcome saved the client’s driver’s license.
  • Sentencing

In a criminal case where the client sought to negotiate a sentence, Me Tanguay managed to secure an even more lenient sentence than expected. Thanks to her advocacy, the client avoided harsher consequences.
