Called to the Québec Bar in 1989, Me Luc Boucher has been practicing criminal law for more than 30 years.
After a long career as prosecutor, Me Boucher accepted to join CSG AVOCATS law firm and offers you his valuable experience to defend your rights. Me Boucher has extensive knowledge relating to the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Competition Act offences.
Seasoned litigator, at the cutting edge of Search and Seizure and Wiretap law, he masters the presentation of evidence rules and the art of cross-examination. In first instance’s court, he pleads in front of a judge alone as much as a court composed of a judge and a jury. He also pleads at the different levels of appellate courts.
Me Boucher has a vast experience in major files. In particular, he has argued many murder, attempted murder, drug related projects, sexual assault, impaired driving causing death trials. He specializes in drug and money laundering offences committed by criminal organizations.
Further, he led a prosecution relating to terrorism offences and, pursuant to the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act, Me Boucher led the second prosecution in Canada for genocide offences relating to events that occurred in Rwanda in 1994.
