Having graduated from of the University of Ottawa in 2012, Me Caron pursued her postgraduate studies in Common Law at the University of Montreal to gain further legal knowledge in all areas of North American law. From the very beginning of her career, she has practiced criminal law, particularly with respect to youth protection (DYP). In addition to pleading in Gatineau and Campbell’s Bay, she is responsible for covering the Maniwaki area.
Me Caron regularly pleads cases related to criminal offences (young offenders or adults) and youth protection (DYP) in the Court of Québec. She has handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from simple shoplifting or drug possession files to complex cases of sexual assault or domestic violence. She has also developed a strong interest and special expertise in complex youth protection cases.
As the regional manager, she travels to the Court of Maniwaki on a weekly basis. As a result, she has become very well-known in that community. Over the years, she has built an impressive network of contacts and resources in the Outaouais region, which enables her to offer high-quality legal services. She has also gained an expertise in the processing of cases from the Aboriginal communities of Kitigan Zibi and Rapid Lake. She works equally in criminal matters as in youth protection.
Me Caron is very involved in the legal community in the Outaouais region and throughout the province. She has been chairing the Association du Jeune Barreau de l’Outaouais since 2018, and has been acting as vice-president of the Association des Jeunes Barreaux de régions since 2019. She is also an active member of the Barreau de l’Outaouais and sits on several regional committees.
Me Caron also accepts legal aid mandates as she wishes to make a difference in her community and help those in need as much as possible.
Well informed of the negative impacts of having criminal charges or a youth protection case, Me Caron will be more than happy to provide answers to any questions you may have. As she is up for any challenges, Mrs. Caron will defend your case without hesitation.
